- 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until dough forms.
- Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
- Divide into 12 equal pieces, shape into balls, and place on tray.
- Let rise in a warm place for 10–15 minutes.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes or until golden.
- Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
Notes
- Use whole milk for richer flavor
- Don’t skip brushing butter at the end
- Double batch easily for large gatherings
