Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  3. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until dough forms.
  4. Knead dough for 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Divide into 12 equal pieces, shape into balls, and place on tray.
  6. Let rise in a warm place for 10–15 minutes.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until golden.
  8. Brush with melted butter and serve warm.
