- 20 Medjool dates, pitted
- 4 oz goat cheese
- 10 slices bacon, halved
- 20 toothpicks
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Make a small slit in each date and remove the pit if not already pitted.
- Stuff each date with about 1 teaspoon of goat cheese.
- Wrap each stuffed date with a half-slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped dates seam-side down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving warm.
Notes
- Use regular-cut bacon for the best texture.
- Add a touch of hot honey or crushed nuts for a twist.
- Can be made ahead and baked just before serving.
