- 1 lb baby potatoes, diced
- 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream or milk
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown sliced smoked sausage in a skillet; remove and set aside.
- Add olive oil and diced potatoes to the skillet; cook until golden and tender.
- Stir in ranch seasoning and cream; mix well to coat the potatoes.
- Return sausage to skillet; stir everything together and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Top with shredded cheese; cover and let it melt over low heat.
- Serve hot, optionally garnished with green onions.
Notes
- Swap in kielbasa or andouille sausage for a flavor variation.
- Add chopped bell peppers or onions for extra flavor and texture.
- Prep ingredients ahead and refrigerate up to 2 days before cooking.
