- 1 (5-6 lb) bone-in prime rib
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 2 tbsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh rosemary
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- Rub roast with garlic, salt, pepper, rosemary, and olive oil.
- Place on a roasting rack, bone-side down.
- Roast for 3–4 hours until internal temp reaches 120°F (medium-rare).
- Let rest for 30 minutes. Increase oven to 500°F.
- Return roast to oven for 10–15 mins to sear crust.
- Slice and serve with au jus or horseradish cream.
