- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add eggs, vanilla, and peppermint extract.
- Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet mix.
- Stir in chocolate chips and crushed peppermint.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes, scoop onto tray.
- Bake at 350°F for 9–11 minutes. Cool and serve.
Notes
- Chill dough to prevent spreading.
- Use real peppermint extract for best flavor.
- Can be frozen baked or unbaked.
