- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional for softness)
- 1 1/2 cups chopped Oreos
- 1 cup Valentine’s M&Ms
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; mix until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cornstarch.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Fold in chopped Oreos and M&Ms.
- Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- Scoop dough onto baking sheet and press a few extra M&Ms on top.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool on pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to rack.
Notes
- Use room-temperature butter for best texture
- Add white chocolate chips for extra richness
- Freeze dough balls for longer storage
