This Christmas Puppy Chow is a festive, chocolatey snack mix that’s easy to make, totally addictive, and perfect for gifting or sharing at holiday parties.

Ingredients

  • 9 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup red and green M&Ms
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
  • 1/4 cup melted white chocolate (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
  2. Place Chex cereal in a large bowl and pour the melted mixture over it. Gently stir to coat evenly.
  3. Add powdered sugar into a large zip bag, transfer coated cereal, and shake until fully coated.
  4. Spread mixture onto parchment or wax paper and let it cool for 30 minutes.
  5. Mix in M&Ms, crushed candy canes, and drizzle with white chocolate if using.
  6. Serve or store in airtight containers.
