- 9 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup red and green M&Ms
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- 1/4 cup melted white chocolate (optional)
Instructions
- Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Stir in vanilla.
- Place Chex cereal in a large bowl and pour the melted mixture over it. Gently stir to coat evenly.
- Add powdered sugar into a large zip bag, transfer coated cereal, and shake until fully coated.
- Spread mixture onto parchment or wax paper and let it cool for 30 minutes.
- Mix in M&Ms, crushed candy canes, and drizzle with white chocolate if using.
- Serve or store in airtight containers.
Notes
- Use fresh cereal for best crunch.
- Double sugar coating for extra snowy effect.
- Can be frozen for up to 1 month.
- Swap peanut butter for cookie butter for a twist.
