Christmas Salmon: A Festive Twist for Your Holiday Table

This Christmas salmon recipe is a festive, flavorful centerpiece for your holiday table, combining citrus, herbs, and a seasonal glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole side of salmon (2 lbs)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 orange (sliced)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 2 sprigs rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Lay salmon skin-side down. Pat dry with paper towel.
  3. In bowl, whisk olive oil, mustard, maple syrup, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread mixture over salmon evenly. Top with orange and lemon slices and rosemary.
  5. Bake for 20–25 minutes until flaky and golden.
  6. Serve with sides and garnish with fresh herbs or pomegranate seeds.

Notes

  • Can be prepared ahead and gently reheated.
  • Pairs well with lemon rice, roasted veggies, or salad.
  • Use leftover salmon for brunch or wraps.
